SUMMER PROJECT
It was an introduction to the Identity topic and the task was to take a picture of yourself every day for 42 days.
I wrote a poem to go with my pictures:
I'll tell you a story from my observations,
this is a story told by me about human emotions
listen to what I say:
life is for living, being the best of you
and believing
and always staying truelove the people around you
it will get you farbe a dreamer
and wish on a star
and if you love life
life will love you back
look for the colours
don't just see in black.
The roads life take us down
make us who we are.
The journeys we travel
are long and far
Never be afraid
through each door
lies an answer for you
it can't be ignored
If death steals from you
(steals ones you love)
surround yourself in friends
peace is with the dove
capture the innocence
of childish ways
and forget about
all those bad days
we grow from practise
and we build from skills
to make us believe
we can climb life's hills
don't let troubled water
stand in your way
just dip in your feet
and run all the way
but never look back
let the sunshine through
on them rainy days
be proud of what you do
in this crowded world
you will stand so tall
you wont be like them
try not to feel small
my message to you
is that no matter what
you shine the brightest
and you be the lightest
of all the hearts
in your world
